Our Four Runners at Taunton. 27.11.14

Today I am running four horses at our local track Taunton. Below are my thoughts on their chances.

—————————————————————————-

Dave Arthur Colours. In the opening selling hurdle we let Arrayan take his chance on ground that should suit him. He acts well on the track and the rain we have had over the last few days will certaintly help him and he is well within himself. He looks to have Ascendent of Andrew Reid's to beat at the weights but I'd be fairly hopeful he could be in the shake up at the very least. Adam Wedge takes the ride.

Mrs Ann Trotman coloursThe Mares Handicap Hurdle has cut up a little at the declaration stage and Come On Annie makes her seasonal reapperance for us here; much like Arrayan she likes the track and the rain in the last few days will be in her favour. There are only four runners and while the run will bring her on she is fit enough to do herself justice and fingers crossed a return to hurdles is in her favour.

Mrs K.R.Smith-MaxwellAnnaroe ColoursIn the concluding Handicap Hurdle of the day I run both Annaroe and Worldor. Annaroe was a creditable second at Fontwell two starts ago but struggled at Towcester last time. Hopefully the drop in trip on a flatter track will suit her.Tom O Brien takes the ride. Worldor has been dissapointing since coming over from Ireland but he did run better last time and it was a step in the right direction; he renews his assosiation with Adam Wedge today and hopefully he can perform with credit but it looks like we will have our work cut out to beat Minister of Mayhem who looks very well treated on his debut for David Pipe.
