Zero does the business at Fakenham.

We made the long journey to Fakenham last Thursday with Zero Visibility and it was worthwhile with him making all the running to score in the concluding handicap hurdle. Very simply things went to plan; jumping out and making all the running and he had the race won from 2 out and after the last I could ease right down on him. It was a pleasurable trip not only due to the fact I had a winner but how wonderfully looked after we were at Fakenham. David Hunter the clerk of the course was on the phone to me at 6am on the morning of racing and went to the trouble of booking us hotel rooms and allowing my intended runner for the next day Come On Annie (was due to run at Huntingdon but sadly that was abandoned) to canter round the course after racing. All in all David and his team deserve tremendous credit for the way they looked after us and we will certainly be heading back to Fakenham in the future and hopefully make it a winning visit again.

It is possible I will run 'Zero' under a penalty at Plumpton on Monday and that could be the start of a busy week as I am heading upto Doncaster sales on Tuesday morning and I have entries throughout the week.
