The West Buckland Racing Club has only just been formed and I am pleased to say that the horses that form part of the club have been performing tremendously on the racecourse. It all started with Bleu Astral who got the ball rolling in perfect fashion by completing back to back wins on the flat at Ffos Las and in doing so provided me with my first winner on the flat. Helium continued the great run of form when he ran a superb race at Worcester and finished second by a head. Helium had been running well over hurdles last season and enjoyed the switch to fences at Worcester yesterday. There are clearly exciting times ahead with Helium and the other horses in the West Buckland Racing Club throughout the season and the good news is there are still places available for those who want to join.
