My first runner of the afternoon is Come On Annie who takes her chance in the 2.45 EBF STALLIONS / TBA MARES' NOVICES' LIMITED HANDICAP CHASE with Conor O'Farrell on board. She won very impressively last time at Chepstow where the race rather fell apart and I am not sure she was left with much to beat, however she jumped proficiently and was very impressive. Today's race is harder with Mrs Peachy arriving on the back of a win at Bangor and Lily Waugh having some good form earlier in the season but I know Come On Annie is in very good form so I am hopeful of a good run.
My second runner of the day is Hoy Hoy who runs in Division 1 of the WHITES OF COVENTRY ALL THINGS METAL NOVICES HURDLE at 3.15. He was purchased from the Mick Channon yard and we have been patient with him waiting for some better ground to make his hurdling debut on. The horse has been pleasing me at home and I hope he will settle and jump well and enjoy his first hurdles start and give us something to build on.
Tomorrow is a busy day with three runners at Taunton and another 2 runners at Stratford so please check back here tomorrow morning for my thoughts on their chances.
