Reflection on Taunton and my two runner’s today.

It was a tremendous day at my local track Taunton last week. The day started off with Arrayan running a creditable race to finish second in the selling hurdle. He just got outpaced by the winner on the home turn but he did keep on willingly and was a clear second at the line.

Come On Annie made the perfect seasonal reapperance winning the Mares Handicap Hurdle on the card. She showed a good turn of foot from the home turn and ran out an easy winner, I'm not sure the form will be worth much but I have entered her at Ludlow next week incase the handicapper over reacts to her win.

Come On Annie's victory also took me to seven winners this season which is one better than last season; it's pleasing as we have improved the quality of the horses in our care and its great to be giving our loyal owners the results on the track now. Long may it continue.

D Fitzgerald & T DunnToday I have the two runners at Sedgefield, Helium is my first runner of the day and he is in what looks to be a competative race on paper. The form of his seasonal reapperance is working out well as the winner came out and won again on Sunday and Helium has certainly come on for the run. It is a tough race for him but I am hopeful he can run well.

Zero Visibility was due to run at Plumpton yesterday but having walked the track I wasn't happy with the ground so I took him out and let him take his chance today instead. He was a lucky winner last time at Fontwell but that will have done the horses confidence the world of good and I would be hopeful he can acquit himself well again. He will enjoy the ground and has a very low weight in the testing ground so fingers crossed he will be competative again but he is a horse that has had his problems so it would be nice to see him run a two good races back to back.
